Common Questions
What time does my daughter need to be at camp?
Please arrive by 6:00pm on June 14 for LDAC & College, June 24 for
Camper and July 19 for Chickadee, Senior High or Women's Trip.
What time does my daughter's flight need to land in the Minneapolis airport?
We ask that her flight arrive in Minneapolis before 12:00 (Noon).
What time does my daughter's flight need to land if she if flying to International Falls airport?
We ask that her flight arrive in International Falls before 6:00 pm
I am dropping my daughter off at the Minneapolis airport; what time should I be there and where should I drop her off?
Please drop her off at noon at the Lindbergh Terminal baggage claim
area 2, door 6. It is the very last door when you drive through the
baggage claim pickup
Can parents visit camp?
We do not have a formal visiting session for our parents, yet value
family involvement. If you choose to drop-off or pick-up your daughter
please email Kathy Dix so we can plan accordingly.
What should my daughter bring?

Is there a shuttle from Cincinnati for the girls' camp?
No, but we will help coordinate rides with other campers. Please email Melynda and she will help with arrangements.
When does staff need to report?
Staff needs to be at camp by 6:00 pm on June 5.
General Information
Laundry
We have on-site laundry service for CITs and LDACs. A local
International Falls location is used for camper laundry. Each camper is
encouraged to launder everything before returning home. A fee is added
to campers' store bills to cover laundry costs.
Visiting Camp
We do not have a formal visiting session for parents, yet value family
involvement. If you choose to visit your daughter whle at camp, please
let the camp know in advance so we can plan accordingly.
Due Dates for Camper Forms
Camper/Participant Forms are due in our office by May, 1. It is imperative to receive forms on time for summer planning.
Passports
All campers (with the exception of Chickadee campers) and staff must
have a passport to cross into Canada for canoe trips. Please see the
link on the left side menu of this website for a helpful link to
obtaining a passport.
Health and Safety
All staff have a minimum of Wilderness First Aid training. Canoe trips
travel in groups of two, of which one is assigned with an
EMT/Wilderness First Responder. In the event of evacuation, we utilize
floatplane services to transport injured persons to our closest local
hospital. We have a nurse on campus 24 hours a day.
