| Thanks
to the generosity of alumni, parents and friends, each year the Camping
and Education Foundation is able to offer tuition assistance to young
men and women who might otherwise be unable to attend Ogichi Daa Kwe
and Camp Kooch-i-ching.
While financial need is a primary basis for awarding this assistance we
are also interested in bringing young women and men of unusual promise
and outstanding character to our two camps.
The Camping and Education Foundation strives to provide access to Ogichi Daa Kwe and Camp Kooch-i-ching
to a broad range of campers. We encourage families who feel they may
need financial help to apply for tuition assistance. Tuition assistance
is mostly need-based and typically ranges from 20 percent to 40 percent
of the base tuition. Awards are determined by the Tuition Assistance
Committee and are based on funds available in relation to the total
number of requests per year.
Steps for applying for Tuition Assistance
- Obtain both the appropriate Camper Application and a Tuition Assistance Request Form.
➢ Both can be downloaded from the camp websites or you may request one by calling the
Cincinnati Office (513) 772-7479.

➢ You will NOT send a deposit in with the application.

➢ Tuition assistance is available for the LDAC, Chickadee, and regular
Ogichi and Kooch camper programs. It is not available for the Ogichi short session trips,
College, Women's or Men's trips.
